Reply:Yeah...mine felt like I was being smashed by a wooden base ball bat. But it will pass. If you have to have surgery thats okay. The healing time is not aweful. You%26#039;ll feel right as rain pretty soon. :)
Reply:Thought that your dentist would have done something about it...like remove it.....it is of no use and you would not miss it anyway...change your dentist or at least get a 2nd opinion....you don%26#039;t want to end up with an impacted wisdon tooth.
Reply:I still have to get all 4 of mine pulled because I had braces and they%26#039;ll push my teeth when they pop out. My only fear is surgery lol.
Reply:In my opinion, I would call a oral surgeon and make an appointment to get all of them removed. SInce one of them is bothering, chances are good that it will bother you again or another will. Where I live, most everyone my age hashad their wisdom teeth removed, it is a common procedure. Mine were all impacted, which means the grew under the gum and never broke through the skin and they actually had to cot open my gum. Having the tops ones out did not hurt, but the bottom ones did. It doesn%26#039;t take very long to heal, or for the pain to subside. Just being honest with you.
Reply:i would recommend getting the surgery because it wont move all your other teeth around...if you cant afford this try eating a lot of cold foods such as icecream or just sucking on ice. biting on things helps too (like a cloth...or you could also wet a cloth and freeze it and put it on your teeth). Use oragel to temporarily numb it. you could also go to the doctor and see if they will prescribe you painkillers for your pain and if they dont, just use motrin it works quite well. if you get a fever i would go to the doctor. normally teeth take about 4 weeks to come in and it shouldnt be severely painful all the time and you will probably notice it will hurt periodically. Make sure you stay hydrated because if you arent eating, its soo not healthy to have an empty stomach. Try getting a second opinion from another dentist if you could because it never hurts to be sure youre doing the right thing:) I%26#039;d say motrin all the way:)
