I got my wisdom teeth out about a week and half ago. Almost two weeks. I don%26#039;t hurt anymore, my back teeth are a little achy, but the dentist said I was fine but should hold off drinking anything carbonated until this weekend (which is pretty much here) I%26#039;ve been done with my medicine for awhile too.
However, I didn%26#039;t ask about alcohol, and they are closed for the next 3 days (so I can%26#039;t call and ask) but I%26#039;m going to a party tonight. Do you think drinking would be fine?
(also, not trying to sound like an idiot, but I don%26#039;t even know if Alcohol was on the %26quot;DO NOT DRINK LIST%26quot; to begin with... I just figured you wouldn%26#039;t be able to drink it for some reason.)

You should be okay. If you got the teeth out a week and a half ago, you can drink carbonated drinks and alcohol now. Just be careful, and don%26#039;t drive! I hope this helps!
Reply:do not drink alchohol whatever you do! it will burn like a *****. i tried drinking about 2 weeks after and it made my mouth hurt and get infected. just dont drink for awhle. i would suggest staying away form alchol for at least 6 weeks after surgury if you can. thats how long it takes to fully heal!
Reply:I have seen a lot of people in my 77 years young and old male and female, black,brown and yellow; none of which was better off after having consumed alcohol or carbonated drinks. Both are a lot of calories and neither have food value. Being loud and making a fool of yourself is not having fun.
